Sawyer Petrick - New York Film and Television Professional

Based in New York City, Sawyer Petrick is a film and television professional with experience in screenwriting and script development. Sawyer Petrick previously worked with Whole Picture Films, where he contributed to projects for both feature film and web series formats.

During his time at Whole Picture Films, Mr. Petrick consulted on The Speech and the first episode of The Look. He wrote the second episode of The Look, drawing on his interest in original narrative work for the screen.

Before that role, he worked as a bar back at Union Square Cafe and Bryant Park Grill. These hospitality positions involved supporting service teams, preparing beverages, and helping close the bar at the end of shifts. Earlier in his career, he served as a special projects intern for ARK Restaurant Group, where he created promotional materials and monitored daily income projections across seven New York restaurants and bars.

Mr. Petrick earned a bachelor of arts in film from The New School. His screenplay Peace Be Upon You was accepted into the school’s ninth annual Voice/Over Script Reading Competition. His senior capstone screenplay, The Newsboy Racket, received high honors. He also holds an EBS Certificate from New York Bartending School.
